A daring touch on one of Portugal's most traditional desserts in a recipe created by Portugal's 1st Masterchef, Lígia Santos

Ingredients
Cream:
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 dessert spoon of corn starch
- 2dl of milk
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 1 lemon peel
Topping:
- 1 tablespoon of Strawberry Extra Jam with Port Wine and Chilli da meia.dúzia®
- 1/2dl of Port Wine
- 2 Strawberries
Method of preparation:
- Combine all the cream ingredients in a saucepan and mix well. Bring to a boil and let it thicken, stirring constantly;
- Put the custard in a bowl;
- Mix the Port Wine with the strawberry jam and cover the cream;
- Decorate with the strawberries and the Strawberry Extra Jam with Port Wine and Chilli da meia.dúzia®.
